Filmed and presented in part in Vietnam, Jungle Rain shows the impact of dioxin poisoning, from Agent Orange, and the legacy of the Vietnam War. Forty years on, New Zealand veterans are still seeking full recognition of the effects of Agent Orange on them and their children. The documentary charts the lengthy campaign that American, Australian and New Zealand soldiers have gone through to secure this recognition. Also contains images of the damage done to the Vietnamese decades on such as continuing birth defects due to the mutating affect on DNA by Agent Orange. It also provides testaments from the manufacturers of the agents in which they state they were aware of the toxins before they started making them for the US Military.
