Prime Minister Jim Bolger held a special cabinet meeting today on the Gulf crisis.
He said the government is closely monitoring the situation and has ordered extra security around possible terrorist targets here. Security has also been tightened at airports.
Betty Duffield, an 80 year old peace campaigner, returns from 3 weeks of protesting in the Gulf. 4 other New Zealanders remain at the peace camp on the Saudi Iraq border. Speaker: Betty Duffield, (Peace Campaigner)
