American Scientists have found the cause of ME or Tapanui Flu. The flu is caused by a virus similar to the one that causes aids. Speaker: Professor Campbell Murdoch, (Otago Medical School).

Tests on a vaccine for people who are HIV positive in the US, show that it could stop them from developing full blown aids. The vaccine works by stimulating the immune system to fight off the aids virus.

A WW2 hero, Brigadier Jim Burrows, was buried in Christchurch today.
