The farmer's wife

This recording contains a radio drama entitled "The Farmer's Wife. It was written by Katherine O'Brien (who died within months of completing the play) and produced by Margaret Burnett. The story follows the wife of a Southland farmer whose routine is turned upside down by the arrival of an attractive Scotsman. Her loyalty to her husband and family is threatened as the passionate Scot reawakens old hopes and longings in her. The cast is as follows:
