Jim Sullivan speaks with Hilda Vincent - a radio pioneer and one, if not the first woman radio announcer. She began her career with station 2ZK in the Wanganui area.(early 1930's) Mentions Grace Green and her work at Christchurch's 3YA. Recalls her arrival in New Zealand, the Depression, the radio station ordering and selling gramaphone records to the public etc.
