1. Matron Miller recalls treating the Japanese prisoners injured in the riot at the Featherston camp in 1943. She worked at the Anzac Hospital, where 35 men were admitted, but more serious patients were sent to Wellington. She talks about one patient she got to know well and how the men passed their time. Recorded in 1964.
2. Entertainer Frank Ifield talks about his career in Australia and England. Recording date unknown.
3. Interview with Carl and Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys while touring New Zealand. Recorded in January 1964.
4. Interview with American vocalist, Roy Orbison, while in Wellington.
5. Coverage of the landing of the Ranger 6 on the moon. There was a sharp impact and the television cameras failed to send pictures back to earth. Recorded February 3, 1964.
