Earlier this morning, Maurice Williamson (Land Information Minister) and Jonathon Coleman (Associate Finance Minister) announced their approval of the new recommendations of the Overseas Investment Office to grant consent to the Chinese-owned Milk NZ Holding Ltd to acquire the 16 Crafar farms. Maurice Williamson, spoke earlier with Samantha and he explains why he approved the recommendations.

Lot's of controversy surrounds the Crafar farm bid by the Chinese-owned company. Michael Fahey (NZ Businessman) who has been vocally outspoken around the sale of NZ farms to foreign ownership, explains why he is not happy with the decision to approve the Overseas Investment Office's recommendations to allow the sale of 16 Crafar farms.
