This series, "Recordings - A Perspective On The Past" is presented by Jack Body and looks at commercial recordings of NZ Music released in the 1980's.
Interviewed are Edwin Carr; Jonathan Besser; Martin Lodge and Noel Sanders; Kevin Oliff, the new managing director of KIWI PACIFIC Records; and Peter Nisbet, the general manager of the NZSO.
They discuss the release of composers' works, some of which the composer has waited many years to hear, not only performed but also recorded. Big change in technology with the introduction of the CD and the demise of vinyl.
