The first time in the city that a concert audience had the chance to see and hear modern music makers in action." He explains this is a delayed broadcast of some of the big bands and small groups heard that evening.

'Blue Skies' played by Bob Bradford on piano, Peter Davy, tenor [saxophone], Cliff Inns, trumpet, Jimmie Gallagher, bass and Jim Shanahan on drums with Martin Winiata on clarinet and taking the vocal.
