Unedited interview. Jim Sullivan i/vs Paul Elenio about the experiences
of Italians living in NZ during WWII. Many of them were incarcerated on
Somes Island for up to four years because of fear of them being fascist
sympathisers. Paul is assistant editor at the Evening Post and is
author of Alla Fine Del Mondo (To the Ends of the Earth), a history of
Italian migration to the Wellington region. He and Jim discuss the
details of the Somes Island detainees and also talk about the Italian

tape).
