A compilation of four audio cuts:

1. The Royal Christchurch Musical Society's organ performance of St. Matthew's Passion (part 2).

2. The Springboks rugby team welcome at Auckland airport on 27 June 1965. The president of the New Zealand Rugby Football Union (NZRFU), Tom Pearce, welcomes the Springboks to New Zealand. He tells them that as they make their way around the country they may see "the odd little placard, stating things that are of a political nature" and advises them to ignore these as not being indicative of the true spirit of New Zealand. The Manager of the Springboks, Kobus Louw, expresses thanks for the welcome, and unconcern about demonstrations or side issues. He states they are there to promote the best interests of rugby at all times.
Then the Springbok Captain, Dawie de Villiers, speaks. He says they have been looking forward to the tour and expresses his thanks.

3. A report from the 20 July 1965 opening of the TEAL/Air New Zealand jet base at Auckland Airport, and the arrival of ZKNZA, an Air New Zealand DC8 aircraft. The base was officially opened by the Minister of Transport, John McAlpine, and hundreds of people await the arrival of the DC8. The reporter details the approach and landing of the aircraft. Then the Captain is interviewed about the flight from Long Beach California, and flyer training.

4. Radio coverage of the aftermath of the prison riot and fire at Mount Eden Prison on 20 July 1965. Announcer David Scott's description of the prison nine hours after outbreak; D.W. Burn, Deputy Superintendent, tells of the riot's origins. Further report from inside the prison by Announcer Tim Evans and others, and comments by Hon. J.R. Hanan, Minister of Justice.
