Mrs Perrine Moncrieff, granddaughter of artist Sir John Millais, talks about his life.
She was four when he died. She recalls he was a delicate man. As a child, he did not like school and his schooldays came abrupt end when he bit the headmaster. He excelled in art from an early age and was eventually enrolled at the Academy School of Art.
