Hastings celebrations
The Kahungunu Iwi is encouraging the people in Hawke's Bay to get active to celebrate the national day. A range of sports competitions will be held at the Hawke's Bay Sports Park in Hastings, which will be played alongside a wide range of cultural performances. Joining us is the promotions and events manager for Ngati Kahungunu, Te Rangi Huata.

The small coastal town of Patea in Taranaki will swell in size today with several thousand visitors expected for the Paepae in the Park festival.
