A weekly extended-interview programme broadcast nationwide on Sunday nights on Newstalk ZB. The programme features a different high-profile guest every week talking about their life, upbringing, passions, world-view, faith and spirituality. This recording is of a network feed from Auckland. There are holes in the broadcast to allow for stations to insert local content. Real Life with John Cowan is funded by New Zealand On Air. In today's programme:

Authors Natalie Cutler-Welsh and Jacqueline Lockington have been called the ‘Trinny and Susannah’ of the parenting world, with their parenting book called “If Only They’d Told Me”.

Even before Jacqui (a working mother of two) and Nat (an at-home mother of three) met, they were each writing their own parenting book.

The devastating Christchurch earthquake threw the pair together and as they got to know each other they discovered that by combining their individual books they would be able to cover a wealth of topics that every parent needs to know. (Visit www.ifonlytheytoldme.com or www.facebook.com/IOTTM)

Both Natalie and Jacqui and I are speaking at the Baby Show in Wellington and Auckland.
