What They Said at the Time: When Wales Beat the All Blacks.

This 'talks' programme [dating from the 1950s] features narration and dramatisation of events surrounding the All Blacks tour of Britain during 1905. This programme focuses on their loss to Wales and reaction at home and overseas.

Excerpts of newspaper articles from the time are read and an extensive studio re-creation of commentary of the game is given, with sound effects of a Welsh crowd cheering and singing "Men of Harlech."
