This recording contains an example of Aunt Daisy's morning programme, the 9.00am broadcast on 2ZB, 12th December 1958.

Aunt Daisy begins by reading a scrapbook piece entitled "Giving" and follows this with a promotion for the premiere of the motion picture "Antarctic Crossing" at the St James Theatre in Wellington. Sir Edmund Hillary will be present at the screening, and proceeds will go to the Save the Children Fund. She then answers a request for an uncooked Weet-Bix based pie crust recipe, and promotes a Weet-Bix card giveaway. Another recipe for five-minute berry jam is also given.

After this segment, she segues into her characteristic monologue-style presentation. Products covered are Slikka freezer pads, ice cream [which she says is not fattening], Feather Flake pastry, Luxoflex blinds, cake icing, Dulux paint, the Record-o-Gram, removing varnish with egg preservative, Goldilocks steel wool, and the Cadbury's picture box assortment.

The broadcast is followed by an advertisement for the Paraparaumu Beach Carnival, some light music [Peter York and his concert orchestra faded out for online copy] and an advertisement for Bushell's Tea [incomplete recording].
