Te Reo O te Pipiwharauroa

The people from Toroa mai Taneatua travelled to Maatatua Marae in Auckland to (Kawe Mate) acknowledge their deceased, and to acknowledge their people living in Tamaki Makarau and to draw them closer together.

During the course of the evening and long into the night the Mihimihi and waiata took place. The next morning they left Mangere and travelled north to Te Tii to link up with and acknowledge people there, and to kōrero.
