Magazine programme about Pacific people.

Three years ago cyclone Val ripped through Western Samoa causing millions of
dollars worth of damage. During the seven day distruction many of Western
Samoa's export crops were destoryed and a year later nearly 90% of its root crops
was wipe out by a devestating leaf blite outbreak.

Things are slowly picking up and a one ton container of taro arrived in Auckland
this week the first since 1993.

Earlier this week a Ministerial delegation arrived from Western Samoa and Sam
Thompson speaks with the Director of Agriculture Tuzinga Avea.
