Northland Schools Choir - Waitangi - Side 2.

The choir sings the following songs : Hey Lidee; Happiness is when you sing;

- The right way round; The last farewell.

600 young children from many Northland Schools played an integral part in the
entertainment provided in front of her Majesty the Queen, Queen Elizabeth 2., at
Waitangi 6th February 1990.

The choir was tutored and coached by two music advisers with the Auckland College
Education, Shona mcIntyre and Stewart Myers.

Te Reo o Aotearoa had a leading role in the presentations, the accompaniment by the
Royal New Zealand Navy Band was recorded in the Durham St radio theatre.

The youngsters recorded in Kerikeri and the tracks mastered by Bruce Duske.
During the performance before her Majesty at Waitangi, Hēnare te Ua provided the
spoken commentary.
