Tirohanga Rangapu - Partnership / Devolution.

Piripi Haami interviews Hirni Moko Mead with regards to a book, "New Green Policy on Māori Affairs" written by Goverment and being delivered to Māori by the Minister of Māori Affairs, Koro Wetere.

Many people believe that this document was written by pakeha for Māori, and most Māori object.

The only clear mandate in the document is that the Māori Affairs Department is going to be abolished in stages, no details given about how or when, nothing about funding or staffing etc...

Hirini talks about his age group of Māori are more wairua inclined, that they are more mediators unlike the mokopuna coming through who are going to be much more educated, much more demanding, will know how to get better results and if they don't they will break out into the streets.

He also gives his view on Labour and National arenas.
