Tame became the Principal of Pakipaki School and has been there for a number
years and is dtill there when this recording was done in 1981.
He talks about how the elders wanted their children to return home and learn
their tikanga so they would be able to look after their marae and be able to stand
and welcome visitors, to look after their elders and learn from them.
