Hosted by Dale Husband with one-on-one, in-depth interviews. A weekly half-hour programme in English focusing on the newsmakers of the day.
Broadcast on Radio Waatea with funding from New Zealand On Air, 603AM Auckland and broadcast throughout the Iwi Radio and Access Radio Networks in New Zealand. 10am to 10:30am every Wednesday.

Introduction and Welcome.
Dale's subject today is Men's Health - specifically, Prostate Cancer.

Guests today are;

Dr Nathan Joseph: Dale talks with Dr. Joseph of Turiki Health Care about a male only problem, Prostate Cancer. He first outlines what that prostate is, what it does, where it's found and safeguards against prostate cancer. Dale asks why Māori men are reluctant to have examinations to their prostate which is done digitally in the rectum. Men need a prostate examination after they reach about fifty years of age and Dr. Nathan Joseph explains urinary problems that may be related to the prostate.

John Tamihere: Former Labour MP and media personality. John spoke at the National Māori Cancer Forum in Rotorua last week about Prostate Cancer. He said men's health education was sadly lacking in the Māori Community but no where near as bad as ten to fifteen years ago.
John talks with Dale about his presentation and where he hopes to take this issue next.
