Commentary and sound effects of tree felling at the Tahakopa Timber Mill.

The announcer describes the work of the sawmen as they fell a large Rimu tree. The tree is 75 feet high, 5 feet across, and will weigh about 25 tonnes when down. It will produce around 13,000 feet of timber when sawn up. The men are using a six foot saw to bring it down. The announcer describes the method of the sawmen's work.

Sounds of sawing are heard in the background throughout, and a crash is heard as the tree falls.
