A programme featuring the New Zealand Concert Party, which left on June 30th to entertain New Zealand and Commonwealth troops in Korea and Japan.

The New Zealand Concert Party continues the high standard and traditions of previous concert parties. This recording was made at a preview concert they gave at Papakura Military Camp, in front of New Zealand and Allied troops of the British Commonwealth Division. There is no compere, and the artists introduce themselves.

Side 1:
Pat Otway sings "This is My Lovely Day" from "Bless the Bride"
Martin Winiata plays "12th Street Rag", playing soprano and alto saxophones simultaneously.
Coral Cummins sings "I May Be Wrong" and "Canadian Capers" (accompanied by Martin Winiata) and "Pretty-Eyed Baby" with Martin and Pat Otway.
Oswald Cheeseman, the leader and accompanist of the party, does a comedy monologue with piano accompaniment

Side 2:
Pat Otway sings and recites "J'attendrai".
A magic skit by magician Alan Matthews with Pat Otway.
Coral Cummins and Martin Winiata perform "A Certain Party of Mine"
A medley of Māori waiata by Martin, Coral and Pat: "Me He Manu Rere" and "Po ata Rau".

The announcer (unidentified) ends by describing the tough conditions the performers will be currently enduring in Korea.
