Sharon Crosbie interviews Marilyn Waring shortly after her announcement of retirement from politics, at the end of nearly nine years as the National Member of Parliament for Waipa.

At thirty-one years of age, she was the youngest member of caucus for some of those nine years, but also for one term was the only woman elected to the National Party.

Waring talks about how she became involved in politics at twenty-two years of age, and reflects on her nine years in the House of Representatives.
