Compilation of British war newsreels. Scenes include: Allied troops at Gallipoli; soldiers landing on a beach; dugouts; sandbag fortifications; views of the coastline and the Allied camp; Turks on board a boat; British troops with an armoured car; and the gravestone of Lieutenant Colonel Fitzgerald, drowned in the sinking of the H.M.S. `Hampshire' in 1916. Also shown is the funeral of General Bridges, and commemorative services held in the aftermath of the war. Compiled by the Australian A.C. Tinsdale in the U.K. and first screened in Sydney in July, 1928.
