A petition signed by 2,000 parents of children with special education needs will today be handed to Attorney-General Paul East. The petition urges the National government to legislate to protect the right of special needs children to an education in mainstream state schools, and
it asks the government for increased funding for this purpose.
Cushla Managh interviews Ross Brereton of New Zealand CCS (formerly the Crippled Children's Society).
