TONIGHT - PROTEASE DRUGS

Roche and Pharmac have reached an agreement to subsidise protease inhibitor drug Saquinavir which is used in treatment of Aids, a move welcomed by Aids Foundation who want clarification as to why only one type of drug has been approved for subsidisation.
