General Description: Opening Shots of crowd filing into the ground and pipe bands playing. Crowd of 40,000 watches teams walk onto the field.. Weather is showery but ground is firm.. Teams exchange cheers prior to SA kicking off. Trevathan kicks penalty goal for NZ and camera pans to celebrating fans. NZ winger Cobden is tackled hard and injured as play continues. Then shown being stretchered off the field. SA winger Williams scores in the corner after a fine run. NZ replies with a try by winger Dick in the second half. Trevathan misses the conversion.
Lyster SA makes a strong run down the left wing. Forward exchanges are torrid affairs. Crowd then seen celebrating drop goal by Trevathan for NZ. Final shots show happy crowd leaving ground with NZ with NZ one up in the three match series.
