Note: Meeting of General Chiang Kai Shek and his wife with Lord Mountbatten at Ranchi. First talks between the British and Chinese concerning the allies support for China after the Japanese invasion. Mr Papps believes he was the only person with a camera.
Colin Papps was a Commander in the RAF during World War II. He served with 84 Squadron in India and later flew spitfires in Burma with 681 Squadron.
