"This fine almost iconic song is nicely matched by a choice of mood setting locations found in this video. The 'live' music venue with the artist and band playing to a group of smoochily dancing couples was shot at the old Whitehouse venue towards the top of Queen Street in Auckland. The relaxed 'aftershow jam' was filmed just after dawn in Bic's manager's old upstairs K'Rd office. Campbell Smith was away overseas on business at the time and was not happy when he got back although really, what is a little mess compared to a potential budget overrun. The performance footage is nicely rounded out with Bic shyly frolicking on the beach at Karekare at dusk." - Director Joe Lonie to Roger Shepherd, 2008.
