A Mack Sennett Talking Picture, one-reel comedy.
On his third wedding anniversary a young man and his friend are arrested for ‘getting gay on the beach’. To keep the truth from his wife he concocts a story in which he heroically rescues a child. Unfortunately for him, his antics, offering a pretty young woman an automobile for a kiss, are caught on film by ‘The Candid Camera’ and seen that very night by his wife who is at the movies. The wife gets the new car she has been dreaming of.
