This film shows the funeral procession of a New Zealand soldier during World War One. Both the location and the date it took place is unknown as is the soldier’s identity.
“LS Funeral procession coming down street soldiers walking slowly. Brass band playing. Wounded soldiers also walk in procession; some w/ casts on arms; walking w/ canes etc. 1 man is wheeled along in a bed & another in a wheelchair. After that a few civilians walk up the street - some pushing baby carriages. CU men - pallbearers lifting coffin off of cart.
