World War One: NCEA Media Studies

These classroom resources explore the use of genre in relation to World War One material. They examine the characteristics of Historical Drama, Expository Documentary, Oral History and Radio Documentary and evaluate how these characteristics have evolved in relation to social and technical changes. The Oral History and Radio Documentary in Genre Comparison will also be of use to History, Social Studies and English teachers. Please be aware that some content may be unsuitable for younger students.
