Richard has a strong background in broadcasting and digital. As well as having been a sound engineer and producer, he led initiatives at RNZ to move documentary production from analogue to digital and built and ran RNZ’s digital operation and website for 10 years.
More recently, Richard has spent time at Te Papa, as Head of Digital at GS1, and in private consulting/coaching practice.
Richard’s role will lead the newly created Digital Preservation and Technology Group.
“The role drew significant interest but Richard’s digital experience at RNZ and Te Papa make him a fantastic fit for Ngā Taonga. We look forward to him joining us in September,” says Honiana Love, Chief Executive of Ngā Taonga.
