Part two of a two-part documentary.
Darcy Collier recalls life in the Otaki Gorge, north of Wellington, and the characters who eked out a living there during the Depression of the 1930s.

After his family had to move out of the Gorge during the slump of the 1930s, Darcy moved in with the family of his friend Les Marriott, who would later write a book about their experiences titled "Life in the Gorge".
