Iranian authorities have now refuelled the jumbo jet at Mashard Airport - but they're still preventing the aircraft from taking off. There are now about 50 hostages, including 3 members of the Kuwaiti Royal family left on board.

The building boom in New Zealand's major cities has brought inconvenience, irritation, and danger to pedestrians. In the past three years there've been 8 reported accidents involving injury to members of the public, mainly through falling debris from construction sites.

The deposed head of the Fijian government, Dr Timoci Bavadra, met with our Minister of Foreign Affairs, Russell Marshall, in Wellington today. The meeting produced a commitment from the New Zealand Government that the Coalition for Democracy in Fiji will still have access to our diplomats here and in Fiji.
