Northland Health is explaining why it's refusing a Whangarei man dialysis, saying he's suffering from dementia. The family of Rau Williams sought an [illegible] in the Auckland High Court today to force the CHE to reinstate his dialysis. The judge has reserved his decision. The Education and Training Support Agency has announced refugees will get priority placements on its english language courses. It's a move the Refugee and Migrant Service has long-been lobbying for and is seen as the first step in reducing the year-long waiting lists of refugees wanting free english language tutition.
