1. Viscount Cobham talks about children's books and reading on July 14, 1961.
2. Viscount Cobham making the first presentation of the Cobham Cup for boy's golf on August 30, 1962.
3. Pelorus Jack is recalled by Mr. Webber of French Pass who describes the animal. Recorded in 1959.
4. The opening of the Picton Rail Ferry terminal. Speakers include Mr. Tom Shand, and the Minister of Railways, Mr. McAlpine, whose wife rings the ships bell, the Tamahine. August 12, 1962.
5. Mr. A. J. Smith of Timaru describes the famous Semple Tank built in Temuka to Asquith Thomson. It was a modified standard D8 Caterpillar tractor. Recorded in 1959.
6. Mark Metekingi talks about a planned canoe journey to Hawaii. Recorded in 1962.
