Side 1. Programme 3
Programme opens with guitar and introduction by unidentified man in cook Islands Māori, translated into English by an unidentified woman: "Greetings to our friends and across the seas, greetings....".

She tells a story "about this beautiful island" which follows the life of a young Rarotongan girl sent to New Zealand during her childhood who then has to return and reaccustom herself to the ways of her people.
The following songs are woven into the narrative, 'The Voice of the Island', 'Song of Welcome', 'Sing Me A Song Of The Islands' and the 'Hula'. Signing off she says, "Until we next meet the songs from the Cook Islands, we say 'Kia orana' to all our friends."
