2. Mounting frustration by those opposed to Papua New Guinea's first liquefied natural gas project, has prompted warnings that the government can no longer neglect the police force in volatile parts of the country.

3. Human rights groups say freedom of religion is under threat in West Papua and children are being removed from the province to be re-educated in Jakarta.

4. Questions about Press freedom in the Pacific have been raised this week after three journalists were arrested or subpoenaed for their work.

5. A state of disaster has been declared in the Marshall Islands as a prolonged severe drought worsens on northern atolls, putting lives at risk.

6. The head of the Fiji Roads Authority, Neil Cook, says complaints about Fiji's roads have gone through the roof.
