In this week’s programme:

1. The net seems to be closing in the long-running hunt for Edward Buckingham - the former governor and attorney general of the Northern Marianas.

2. One of the organisers of this week's Haus Krai, or House of Mourning, in Papua New Guinea says it has been a great success in terms of putting the issue of violence against women before the public.

3. Solomon Islands police are being urged to remain united, amid reports of a split in the force and on-going uncertainty around the departure of the former police commissioner, John Lansley.

4. The senior climate change advisor in the Marshall Islands says most of the shoreline on the atoll of Ailanglaplap is eroding away and it may only be habitable for another 20 years, unless the international community steps in to help.

5. More aid agencies are mobilising to help Marshall Islands which is in a state of disaster as it battles severe drought in the north.

6. Environmental groups in Hong Kong say Air Pacific is feeding the unethical trade in sharks fin by transporting sharks fin to the territory.

7. Many teachers across Papua New Guinea say they are struggling to cope with overcrowded classrooms.

8. The New Zealand Aid and Development Dialogues group says the New Zealand government needs to allocate more funding to foreign aid.

9. Carinnya Feaunati, a New Zealand architecture student, is hoping to use modern technology to change the way traditional Samoan homes, or fale, are built.
