This current affairs programme is hosted by new radio broadcaster, Duncan Garner. This is the first broadcast for Duncan as the permanent presenter for this show.
PROGRAMME SCHEDULE:
The recording begins with a news bulletin normally presented by Geoff Bryan or Liz Parsons. A sports bulletin follows (usually presented by John McNeil or Jeff McTainsh) and then a traffic report and weather bulletin follows along with radio advertisement placement. Upon completion of this initial bulletin, the major news headlines are repeated again before the presenter introduces the programme's schedule for the day.
SEGMENT 1: NEWS STORY
Cyclone Evan has wreaked havoc on Samoa with at least 4 deaths (unconfirmed) in the island nation. The worst of the cyclone appears to be over and is not expected to hit Samoa again. NZ Hight Commissioner to Samoa, Nick Hurley joins the programme.

At approximately quarter past the hour, Geoff Bryan presents the latest major news headlines, which is followed by a number of radio advertisements and traffic report.
SEGMENT 2: GERRY VS GRANT
Gerry Brownlee (National Party) and Grant Robertson (NZ Labour Party) join the programme to debate the latest political issues in the media.

At the bottom of the hour (half past the hour) Geoff Bryan presents the major news stories of the hour, followed by a sport bulletin (normally with Jeff McTainsh or John McNeil), then more radio advertising. Newsreader (normally Geoff Bryan or Liz Parsons) then follows with a traffic report and weather bulletin for Auckland.
SEGMENT 3: DAILY BUSINESS RATE
Bernard Hickey (Editor, interest.co.nz website) provides the latest business and economic news including sharemarket prices and the NZ dollar.
