Real Life with John Cowan is a weekly nationwide chat show, featuring a different high-profile guest every week. John talks with them about their life, their upbringing, their passions and their view of the world. And when appropriate, John and his guest chat about faith, spirituality and "God-stuff". Tonights guest is NZ's Next Top Model judge and fashion photographer, Chris Sisarich and includes Tim Parsons (Film Director) who directed the shoot that Chris was on in Africa.

Born in Wellington, Chris moved with his family to Fiji when he was a teenager as his father was employed to reform Fijian law.

When a coup hit Fiji, the family returned to New Zealand where Chris struggled to settle into life in Kapiti Coast High School.

After leaving school Chris used his modelling talent to travel, living in London, South Africa and Australia.

At the age of 25 he got more serious about his career, returning to New Zealand to study photography at Wellington Design School.

He has since worked in fashion photography and advertising and in 2009 became one of the judges on TV3’s New Zealand’s Next Top Model.

Chris now lives in Auckland with his wife and two daughters.
