A Spectrum documentary programme introduced by Alwyn Owen.

Two survivors, Spencer Edge and Bert Alley, recall the torpedoing of the ship 'Jason' (also known as the Jantzen) on the Greek Peloponnese coast on 9 December 1941. It was torpedoed by the HMS Porpoise.

The Jantzen, carrying prisoners of war, was on its way to Italy. Hundreds of prisoners were killed.
