Gladys Moncrieff is interviewed by Mr [Walldon] for the Commercial radio station, 2ZB Wellington. She comments that the last time she was in New Zealand was in 1943. In this recording she said her father was born in Nelson. She talks about her World War II wartime entertainment activities and describes the clothes she wore on stage. Her preferred stage production was "Maid of the Mountain" and her first performance in New Zealand was with the Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company. Gladys Moncrieff ends the interview commenting about the many letters she received and said for the benefit of listeners, she has her own hair, teeth, she has been married, no children and under 100.
