9. Mr Sam Worthington recalls the cost of drinks in 1917 when ten o'clock closing ended. All beer was Speight's from Dunedin. Ten o'clock closing was re-introduced October 9th in Greytown.

12. Minister of Overseas Trade, J. R. Marshall comments on Wairarapa industries.
13. Mr Brian Blackwood, chairman of the Masterton Knox Church centennial committee, comments on their focus.
14. Judge M. C. Smith on the Māori Land Court which sat in Masterton in October. He explains the two types of Māori land ownership - customary and freehold.
15. Mr D. B. Leech of Masterton, author of a newly published book on railways, talks about the passing of steam trains.
16. Mr David Peters of the Queen Elizabeth Arts Council opens Active Arts '67.
17. The re-erection of the 85 year old bell for the Greytown Civil Defence. Greytown town clerk, Mr J. C. Young, comments on its history as the former fire brigade bell .
18. Bishop elect of the United Church of the Solomons Reverend Leslie Bossito, and education in the Solomon Islands.
19. Mr W. D. Abernathy on the Night Security Service, a first for Masterton. A uniformed security patrolman and guard dog will patrol premises at night.
20. The Reverend Ron Taylor, a missionary returned from Tanzania .
21. Mr C. V. Rob, a missionary from Papua New Guinea, talks about whether there are still head-hunters in PNG.
