4. Part of the inaugural address by Albert Henry as Prime Minister of the Cook Islands. Recorded August 4, 1965.
He describes self-government as a new era for the Cook Islands. He thanks the New Zealand government for its aid in the past. He greets the many thousands of Cook Islands people living in New Zealand and expresses the hope that some of their children will return to the islands. To the people of the Cook Islands he says "Let us begin."
