The following rundown is supplied from the broadcaster’s news system:

2. The United Nations says it is concerned about proper nutrition for mothers and babies in Vanuatu after cyclone Pam struck.

3. There has been a negative reaction in New Caledonia to the French government approving an electoral law as part of preparations for an independence referendum by 2018.

4. Bougainville's president says the region's progress towards self determination has been most interesting and challenging and this is why he wants to continue in the job.

5. China has been urged to speak up over a regional tussle which threatens to see Fiji remain in self-imposed exile from the Pacific Islands Forum.

6. The Prime Minister of Tuvalu [i.e. Enele Sopoaga] says he has a convincing mandate to continue the work he has been doing over the past few years.
