5. A federal epedemiology team has arrived in American Samoa to help with the response to a dengue fever outbreak that has gripped the territory.
6, A Norfolk Island group [i.e. Norfolk Island People for Democracy] challenging the Australian government's removal of the island's autonomy says there are signs of significant support for their cause.
7. The names of about 50 teachers in Solomon Islands have been removed from Ministry of Education files after a nationwide assessment found their jobs could not be verified.
8. A woman [i.e. Gile Sayiyong] who gave birth to triplets in a remote village in Papua New Guinea's Morobe province took six days to reach a hospital in Lae, after tribal fighting stopped her from reaching medical help.
